Create a secure account. EFF uses a private, one-time email sign-in link.
Submit one division application. Choose School Supplies or Dorm Items, tell your story and upload proof of Fall 2026 enrollment or acceptance.
Submit your complete profile. Your public profile publishes immediately after all required fields, consent and private documentation are submitted. Your enrollment file stays private.
Share and begin campaigning. Copy your live link, download your personalized Instagram graphics and invite supporters. EFF completes final eligibility verification before confirming a winner.

For supporters

Open a live student profile.
Choose 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 or a custom whole-dollar number of votes.
Complete payment only through the checkout on this official website. EFF does not store payment-card details.
The payment provider sends EFF a signed server-to-server confirmation. Only then are votes added. Off-site payments never count.

After voting closes, EFF will verify eligibility and payment integrity. Subject to the final published rules, the eligible profile with the highest verified net vote total is the anticipated winner.

Amazon wishlist purchase

The winner sends EFF an eligible Amazon school-supply or dorm-item wishlist. EFF reviews the list and purchases approved items directly, up to the final maximum award.

Scholarship award

The winner may instead choose a scholarship award distributed through an EFF-approved, documented payment method, up to the final maximum award.

Votes are not the student’s money.

Contributions made through a profile support EFF’s Fall Student Success Fund and generate campaign votes. The displayed total is not a personal fundraising balance, is not payable to the student and does not belong to the student. Non-winning profiles do not receive the contributions connected to their vote totals.

Current award value: Fundraising-dependent; no minimum amount is guaranteed.

The award is not a fixed amount. After voting closes, EFF will calculate an Available Award Pool from verified net campaign proceeds after refunds, disputes, reversals, payment-processing fees, fraud losses and reasonable direct campaign-administration costs. The winner's maximum award is the lesser of the Available Award Pool or the winner's verified eligible need. EFF does not promise that a fixed percentage of gross contributions will become the award. EFF will document the calculation and publish the final maximum award before the winner chooses an award method.

One-winner donation and award disclosure

This campaign will have one official winner. Every verified whole U.S. dollar contributed through an eligible profile on this official website equals one campaign vote. Vote payments may be collected only through backtoschool.estherfundsfoundation.org. They are charitable contributions to Esther Funds Foundation's Fall Student Success Fund—not money raised for, owned by or payable to a contestant. After voting closes, EFF will verify eligibility and payment integrity before confirming the eligible profile with the highest verified net vote total. The winner may choose either eligible Amazon school-supply or dorm-item purchases made directly by EFF, or a scholarship award distributed through an EFF-approved method. The award is fundraising-dependent, capped by the winner's verified eligible need and is not guaranteed at any minimum amount. Submission, publication and votes do not guarantee an award.
